Brown Falcon at Spring vale Vineyard - East Coast Tasmania
I witnessed this actually happening in real life...a brown falcon launching from a winery post at Spring Vale Vineyard. But, I was too slow doing a U-turn to stop and bold from the car with camera in hand. So at the time, I just photographed the post as a reminder of the event. The leaves were bright green. Post Number 4.
It was a while before I managed to photograph a brown falcon actually 'taking flight' in the same action as I saw that day in the vineyard, so I could recreate the vision I had witnessed many months prior. Then along came autumn and there it was! A composition of colour that I loved! The two ideas just fitted beautifully and was aligned with a time in my life when I felt I too was 'taking flight'.
That's the beauty about 'artistic license'. A vision I will always remember fused with my favourite Tassie season. The colours of an East Coast Autumn.
